VALUES:

We value and commit to:

  • A community-centered mindset and power sharing towards collective liberation
  •  Centering equity and actively working to be anti-racist, inclusive, accessible, and to confront institutional inequities
  • Organizational leadership that is diverse and represents the communities we work with
  • Centering each individual’s needs, goals and self-determination
  • Being open and honest about our process and decision making, being mindful of our impact, and taking accountability when we make mistakes
  • Effectively using our resources to maximize impact for the communities we represent
  • A high standard of excellence and a growth mindset

Collective liberation acknowledges that multiple oppressions exist, and that we work in solidarity to undo oppression in ourselves, our families, our communities, and our institutions. Collective liberation requires that we center the voices and lived experiences of those who have been most marginalized.

Collective liberation means recognizing that all of our struggles are intimately connected, and that we must work together to build shared power and accountability that foster a just and transformed world.
