Our Team

Eli Allison, Founder & Executive Director, (they/he/she)

Eli is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of Auto Repair Transformation, a nonprofit dedicated to dismantling systemic barriers in the automotive industry and advancing equity for historically excluded communities. With over a decade of experience as the owner of Repair Revolution, a nationally recognized and proudly queer-owned auto repair shop in Seattle, Eli has led groundbreaking efforts to reimagine what inclusive, justice-centered business can look like.

Under Eli’s leadership, Auto Repair Transformation delivers access to free repairs to low income community members, hands-on training, and career opportunities for people who are often shut out of the industry—particularly BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and low-income community members. Eli is a respected advocate, strategist, and community-builder with deep expertise in nonprofit leadership, workforce development, and values-driven entrepreneurship.

In addition to directing operations, fundraising, and partnerships for Auto Repair Transformation, Eli serves on the Board of the GSBA  and contributes to automotive workforce development through the Shoreline Community College Automotive Program Advisory Board. A recipient of GSBA’s 2023 Business of the Year award, Eli continues to champion a future where everyone has access to mobility, opportunity, and economic empowerment—no matter their background.
